Key user is set by your dealer and let’s you do a couple of things in the myaudi app. Setting remote climate and looking at the battery level

The user setting in the mmi to stop the bloody annoying privacy notice is not possible at all until they upgrade the cars software. Which is pretty shit that something as basic wasn’t ready for launch.

I did get an email saying the ECS through the App is unavailable on 23rd for a time to allow an update, so maybe... although did just see Percy with some wings...

I wish I’d found this earlier in the week! I’ve experienced all the same issues and finally got the elusive ‘key user’ added to the account so I can now at least see the charging state and pre warm the car. The entire process is quite shocking considering it’s not like Audi don’t already have the e-tron, hybrid cars and app could have been updated prior to the Q4 launch. I’m still a guest though I’m my own car though. Having had Mini - E this year, that interface was slick but then its BMW group, so to be expected. Disappointed for my first foray with an Audi

Hi,

On my previous car, a Q2, I could send navigation details from my iPad or iPhone to the car, but can’t see how to do this on the Q4. Is this possible with the Q4 or is this another omission on the car?

It's a bug in the software as you can't login to the MMI, hence the privacy notice evrytine, meant to be updated this month but I emailed Audi digital this week and they were less than helpful as to whether this is the case still...

Hi,

I got this message appear on the screen on the MyAudi app! Called Audi support and asked me to delete the app and reload, so did this but still the same error message. Said they would get back to me with an answer. Well that didn’t happened.

Any ideas?

It's on other threads but it's because you can't log into the MMI in the car, when I phoned Audi a few weeks ago they said the software in the car should be updated by end of the year and to contact them again towards end of November, but I contacted them last week and were useless and said contact the dealer (who won't have a clue!)

I had to call today to try and get my wife added as a secondary driver, limitation of the app apparently. I had to login as myself on her phone. Go figure.
