Yep I do indeed as have the edition 1 and they came with it.

Perhaps, and this is just a suggestion to anyone from Audi reading this post, you might like to go back to the old days of paper when you could see a matrix of what cars ‘actually’ got when they buy them from you lol

Like others, I have no idea how many reversing lights I get on my S Line and think given the press and in dealership comments, will be very upset if the much talked about light bar ONLY comes with the £1200 matrix lights! Let me guess, we’ll be able to add them as a monthly option???

Indeed, no idea what my bar is for when it doesn't work (S-Line 40).

Aha yes, went back to the configurator. Is a £1075 upgrade -

. digital daytime running light signature (choice of 4 light signatures when stationary)
· dynamic indicators
· dipped beam
· main beam
· position light
· turning light (supplements lateral illumination when turning off)
· all-weather light (to reduce reflected glare in poor visibility conditions)
· manoeuvring light (illuminates the front side manoeuvring area when reversing)
· motorway light (extended light range at high speeds)
· automatic-dynamic headlight range control (compensates for the vehicle’s load and pitching movements)
· dynamic light sequencing of the coming home/leaving home function

I'm guessing a second brake light might be in there ha.

Little disappointed but as it's a lease I'm not spending £1000 for fancy lights, I really thought the back bar was standard.

I am hoping one of the retro-fit specialists might come up way to light the just the rear bar without spending a fortune replacing the entire rear light assembly.

So the light bar does nothing without upgrading to the Matrix lighting? Or does it at least function as a break light?

We may have it, just need to turn it on.



I think this is why the shop button in the app doesn't do anything?

I'll try and phone Audi later to find out. I know Tesla do this but it's the first I'm hearing of Audi doing it.
