Hi,

After getting a preordered Q4 etron I was bit surprised that raised boot floor was not part of standard delivery and whole boot was messy and full of cables. I contacted the person who sold the car at Audicenter and we did some digging to get the required parts. After getting the parts list I went to sparepart desk and ordered these items. (Sorry for measurement and money values I am from Finland)

Partlist:
Floor panel: 89A861529 8P9, 272€
Left side plastic support: 89A863423, 24€
Right side plastic support: 89A863424, 24€

Prices include tax and transportation from Germany to Finland.

Installation:

Both sides had 3 spikes like this. Those had to go as there was no place in body metal where those could be fitted and we didn't want to drill holes to car body.

Two spikes that have been cut away.

After spikes have been cut we were able to fit it to right place and mark spots for the bolts. (bolts were not included we got collection of 6mm bolts with different lengths from local hardware store. We had M6x30mm, M6x40mm, M6x50mm at least and I don't remember which we used)

We removed the plastic support and pushed with spike tool trough side wall fabric and tried that bolt fits and has the right length. After finding the right place for all the bolts we put plastic side back to right position and fixed it with 3 bolts per side. It will stay quite well in place even after the spikes has been cut off.

After both sides attached with total of 6 bolts we placed the cover. It was bit tight and had to apply small amount of force to get it in place. I am not sure should it be this tight after a factory install.

Looks good.
I assume that behind the fabric trim in photo 4 there are pre-threaded mounts for the bolts??

Yes mounts for the bolts are there but not for those plastic spikes

Hi,

I was going to ask the same question, so thanks for the update. I’ve sent an email to my local Audi dealer parts department asking them to quote for the parts and timescales.

Hi,

Had quote back from the dealer. For the raised floor, two side panels and six bolts the quote is £266. To fit these parts they want £140, but I’m going to do this myself, especially as the holes in the floor are missing and I can’t see the dealer drilling holes or cutting the spikes off the side panels without asking me to sign numerous disclaimers.
