Audi Q4 Forum

I have just bought a new Q4 35. The last few days have been pretty hot and I’m finding the air con pretty weak. Has anyone else had this? I have air con at max setting, so don’t know if it’s just a setting thing or if the are a bit rubbish for this one thing? (Love the car otherwise).

When it’s really hot outside car air-cons work a lot better with the air recirculation button pressed. Otherwise the car is trying to cool a constant stream of hot air from outside.

I always run the a/c in Auto mode and air circulation in auto whatever the weather and that works fine. I got in the car after it was parked in the sun all day yesterday and the car was cool within 5 minutes.

Have a look at the attached as it should help. I’ve been out today (30 degrees), and in Auto mode the car was cool in less than five minutes.
