Week 27. That is W/c 5 July. Not sure when the order was placed by the dealer as my car was chosen from ordered stock. Never the less I have some idea now when it is likely to appear out of the showroom.

I’m assuming it was built last week which would be week 37. 10 weeks after the original date

That's really useful to know, we got the build email on 9 July (ours was ordered stock too) so sounds like ours was the same build week, so that may mean ours is nearly done or I can live in hope!

Hey guys. I’m at a bit of a loss about whether or not to cancel my order.

I ordered a 35 S line with comfort and sound on 30/6/2. I’ve been contacted today by lookers (my local Audi dealer) and said that it’s still showing as pending.

But I got an email from Audi on 27/7/21 saying that my Audi was in build.

Lookers said it was meant to go into build last week 36 but it’s showing as still pending on their systems or whatever they use. And he said I had the option to cancel, that he couldn’t even give me an indication.

My pod point installation has been installed and I’ve switched over to octopus evergy in preparation. But I’m really considering cancelling the order of I have to wait until potentially next year… does anyone else have similar order and build time estimates who knows anything more. It’s a bit weird how the Audi email I got seems to contradict what the lookers dealer seems to know …

I’d sit tight mate, we’re all gagging to get our cars on here, but sadly the chip shortage is crippling all car manufacturers atm, 6-7 months appears to be the norm atm on the Q4, ID3, ID4.

VW are quoting 18 - 20 weeks on new ID3 orders.

Last thing you want to do is cancel, buy something you don’t really want, then regret it.

My mate has ordered a Range Rover sport hybrid and been told sept 22 at the earliest

I'd say the same and hold tight as I don't think it's getting any better with any other manufacturer. I got told that ours is substantially built just waiting one part and that was after our build email on 9 July but not getting much else from the dealer or Audi UK. At least you got your pod point installed, our lookers dealer insist we need the completed car on route to get the order for one, tried via Audi UK who said speak to the dealer.
