(Ok possibly ahead of time but this could become an interesting topic)

Questions for this topic would be what range are you currently achieving and what consumption are you achieving at motorway speeds???

Iam hoping it get a good 180 miles at normal motorway speeds 🙄, maybe down to 160 in winter

Well this is from an Auto Car review of the Q4:
The mid-range Q4 E-tron’s 77kWh battery capacity compares favourably with what’s on offer in the longest-range versions of the Tesla Model 3, Polestar 2 and Mercedes-Benz EQA. That fact, combined with creditable on-test running efficiency and good rapid-charging provision, should put the Audi in a strong position for those primarily concerned with the practical limitations of EV ownership.

Our test car returned 3.0mpkWh at a steady 70mph motorway cruise, suggesting owners will be able to routinely put at least 220 miles between charges over longer distances. Its efficiency increased to 3.9mpkWh at 50mph, at which speed it would become nearly a 300-mile proposition. Among its nearest rivals, only the longest-range Tesla Model 3 and Ford Mustang Mach-E do better for operating range, although even the latter can’t match the Q4’s peak rapid charging capacity of 125kW.

Has anyone had a 35 or 40 Q4 in terms of real life range?

We're looking at a 35 as only really do one long journey which is 115 miles and there's a charger at destination.
With that I would have thought even in winter with a full car of family it would be easily covered. Even at 80% charge.

Any thoughts or real life experiences would be appreciated.

To note we have a gentle right foot normally and generally get good MPG

I have a Q4 40 and quite happily get 200 miles (about 50/50) mix for motorway/town roads from 80% charge. I would expect to get around 250 miles from 100% charge with the same mix of roads.

Rico2311 if your looking to get the car on a pcp the 40 is only a small amount a month more than the 35, given the 40 is expected to have a much stronger residual. I would really consider it, no one has yet run these cars in winter and the range will drop considerably, and the 40 gives you a useable buffer if it’s the main car in the household.

I have a 40 and I’m getting about 180 miles from a full charge at 78mph motorway only driving. If I dropped to 70 mph then about 200 miles max…
Also, have charged at two different network fast DC chargers allegedly capable of 150 and 300kw speeds. The max charge rate I got was 65kw ……
