Anyone updated their app today? Updated and lost the the two only functions pre heat cabin and set charge level? Has this happen to anyone else and what was the fix?

Love the car but software is 💩 compared to Tesla that has added additional functions compared to Audi that takes them away????

Only solution is to delete the car on the app and add it back on

Your dealer will have to then set you back up as key user and the functions are back

It’s another rather annoying thing from the software side of this car

Hi,

So I thought the app was fixed after an email from Audi Digital Services last week, but for the last few days the app is showing my battery at 100% and range 124 miles! I emailed Audi Digital team and they replied saying the issue is re-forwarded with the specialist team.

Well the myAudi app is telling me that the licenses have expired!! The car isn't 2 weeks old yet😂. This means that I can't see the battery charge, mileage or set the air conditioning (all a bit worthless having the app really).

I have confirmed that I am set as the key user (and that was quite a faff).

Audi digital are not particularly helpful and my contact at the dealership is on holiday until tomorrow...

This sounds like you need to delete your vehicle from your app and re-add it, with your dealership re-adding you as a key user.

This issue started when Audi updated the app. Audi digital don't advise any real solution, but the fix is by doing the above.

Oh joy! I'll speak to my contact tomorrow and see if he needs me onsite to be set as the key user again...

Shouldn't need to, our dealer did it really quickly when we emailed

So have done what you suggested... (delete car, re-add car, get Audi to reinstate me as key user) and I still have expired licenses :lol:

Oh well, I didn't want to see the battery charge or mileage remaining anyway... Guess I'll have to wait for Audi to resolve this issue...

Right 3weeks ago I put in an executive complaint about the my Audi app and the lack of car software and functionality to the Audi CEO, he replied and thanked me saying someone from his team would contact me they did and we had a nice chat. In the end the out come of the chat was; he has put all my concerns on a list of all know issues which we as customers are having( the issue list is quite extensive according to him) but it’s down to Germany and we should get a letter to ask us all to take our cars in to be updated! when is anybody guess so we have to wait, at which point I said “I hoped it’s wouldn’t be as long as getting the car”, he wasn’t amused. So there you have it - No change and we just wait.

However the car is lovely and I am pleased I waited and didn’t buy the model Y
