Trying to start climate control from the app I keep getting this fault code

I see that occasionally, but if I retry the settings it goes through...

If you have switched off the climate control in the vehicle, the App cannot/will not be able to activate remote climate control.

I hope that this feature will be improved on the next software update.

Does anyone know what Comfort Climate Control is? There is the option for left and right….

I thought I may be seat heating, but it doesn’t appear to be and it doesn’t seem to make any different to the cabin, when I preheat it.

I thought it was for the seats too... probably is meant to be but no doubt doesn't work properly!

I don't know how I managed it but I have had the drivers seat heating come on after sending command to heat the cabin.

i am not sure but it MAY have been because when i stopped driving the previous night I had the seat heating on.

Unfortunately its not obvious from the App exactly what each option does and the manual isn't exactly intuitive for some options.

If you leave the heated seats on I think they come on when you start the heating?

I might be wrong, my wife always leaves them on which drives me nuts.

Ok, so it's the same as the climate control - if that is turned off when you lock the car, the app can't/won't activate it to preheat - another example of terrible Audi software...

I think it puts them on if you check the box for glass heating. As whenever I hit that box when the car is iced up, the heated seats are on. Or it may be when the cabin temperature is below a certain amount when the heating starts. it's definitely based on one of those (glass heating or temperature though and not previous use when last driving)

I never finish driving with the seat heating on, so it's not about them remembering what the last session was.
