Thanks all for response’s. I have checked Audi’s T&C’s and providing I place my vehicle order before 31.03,22, I am eligible for free podPoint + standard fitment. Because of this, I’m guessing that government grant coming to an end, does not affect the process. As car not due to March 23 , not expecting Audi to start and organise for a few months.

I would just get it in writing from the dealer that they will do it

I have taken a screenshot of T&C’s, before they disappear off the Audi website.

Lisag2010, have you already got your car when PP fitted? I have only just placed order for mine, so not due (estimation) until March 23. Don’t want to order too early ( if there is such a thing), but then again don’t want to be last minute either. Thanks
Our order was placed start of November '21, delivery date set to 31st July 2022 and the Pod Point was installed 22nd December.

Pod point have contacted me regards installing. I’m assuming it is the universal option I choose rather than the tethered? If so, does the car come with correct cable to attach to home charger. Thanks

Pod Point should install the option you chose.

The vehicle is supplied with a type 2 cable for use with AC charge points including a home Pod Point.

Having a teathered type 2 just makes life more convenient and removes the need to remove and unravel the cable from the boot every time you get home and want to put the vehicle on charge.

Mine came with a Granny Charger and a Type 2 cable.
