I know the fast charge stations aren't always that fast but I'm at an IONITY 350kw charger and I'm getting 33kw with one other car plugged in.

I should get getting up to 150kw right?

Any reason it's so slow?

Surely one other car can't be slowing it down that much?

I was at a 125kW BP Pulse today and got a max of 60kW... Just wonder if environmental conditions play a part in this?

Is that not the car? Sure I read, on here, that the car can only accept up to a certain level?

So it can be massively impacted by other users, the state of charge of the battery impact it too and I don't think Audi precondition the battery which others do to help get the higher speeds, I think the max it can currently take is 125kw on the 40 and 50, and 100kw on the 35.

The answer is that Audi have massively overclaimed the charging speed of the car and it’s a class action waiting to happen ….
I have tried on chargers that are outputting full speed for a big etron - put my Q4 on and it’s 50kw max. We’ve all been done !

We have a 350kW Ionity charger not far from us but it has a ridiculous cost of 69p kWh. Have just noticed that with the e-tron charging service it lists that Ionity HPC charging is only 28p kWh? Did you notice if you were charged the reduced amount when using or the full whack?

It's the reduced rate if you have the Etron tariff, or that's what's I was charged

I used an Ionity charger on a road trip in Dec and peaked at 118kW. Payed the reduced rate using the E-tron card πŸ‘πŸ»

Apologies for the delay in responding, I was charged the E-tron rate because I used the E-tron card
