Seems pricey but I like the integration.
If not anyone know if modern dashcams can be run of a battery without needing to be wired in?
Anyone have the Q4 dashcam?

You’ll easily get an auto electrician who can wire in an aftermarket solution (many will provide much better functionality than the Audi one) very easily, with cables hidden behind trim for not much more than £50 - £100.

The FitcamX looks pretty good and would solve your issue. I’m thinking of getting one actually - thanks Geh2021.
There are some detailed instructions regarding fitment in an e-tron forum too:

I have had Blackvue Dual Dashcams fitted to 5 of my last cars and they are fitted to our two current electric cars. They're good, but fitting is anywhere between £100 and £150.
They run parking mode and everything seems fine.
