This is what I was saying to the representative from Audi who rang me, no one knows anything and even if a software update is being worked on we may not get it in the end. For me that's the final straw. We're three months shy of having our car for a year now and nothing (software side) has been updated.

Why is it that VW will shortly be delivering version v3 software (as an OTA update after v2.4 has been installed by the dealer) for IDx vehicles. Q4 is the same underlying platform as VW IDx. It is very frustrating to see Audi apparently incapable of delivering long promised software updates. Are they totally different software development teams?
Why can't Audi be more communicative as VW seem to be about their software updates?

I think Audi use Cariad or something (development team) who have been noted as being massively behind schedule.
