Afternoon All

I know I can only get 11kw on AC from a 22kw charger, however I’m currently connected to one and am only getting 6.5kw.
I’m using one at work and my colleagues who used it this morning (BMW I’d) got 11kw.

Any ideas/thoughts/fixes please?

If you have the 40, then it needs 3ph to pull 11kW. If only 2ph received, then 7kW would be the max; so perhaps a problem with charger; But that would be the same for other car.

Have you tried another cable, to make sure it’s not your cable.

Thanks Ronochan. What do you mean by 3ph?

I haven’t tried another cable, thanks for the suggestion.

Hi

Just tried the cable I used at work on my pod point at home and it immediately pulled 7kw from my 7kw charger.

Anyone else have any other thoughts please?

Thank you

3 phase, 32A per phase or 7.2kW x 3 is 22kW

The two bottom pins on the charge cable are the live connectors for the 2nd and 3rd phase. If they aren't there (no metal in the connector) or there's a fault in the cable you will be limited to just 1 phase. So it could pull 7kW on your single phase podpoint but be unable to pull 11kW from the 3 phase 22kW charge point.
