Congratulations Spectator.

I ordered the same car as you, also in September 21.

I still don’t have a build date.

Did you get the full Vorsprung spec? I have a feeling my heat pump order is probably the latest reason for my delay.

Are you pleased with your car and have you got a photo? I’ve never seen a Vorsprung.

Congratulations again.
Thanks.

The two things I didn't spec were the heat pump and the tow hitch. So you may be right...

I got pretty much everything that was advertised to be in the Vorsprung trim when ordered, including wireless mobile phone charging, which I really was expecting not to be there on the car anymore.

It drives like a dream, only had it a few days but have put a few hundred miles on it already. Extremely pleased with driving comfort and feel, even on 21"s

Hope you get some good news soon.

So have had a week of back and forth with Audi UK about my order…..

Was told that if I want th car, I should take it without the electric seats (which are part of the spec) as that will give me a Jul 23 build slot, if not, there is no schedule for a build slot, and the Sep date I was advised on was only an estimate.

Have asked for a reduction in cost of the car, in essence at least the cost of electric seats, after all I have paid for them, they can not deliver, so why pay for what I am not getting plus nearly 60k for a car without electric seats is a joke (1st world problem I know but at resale it may cost me!).

In terms of good will gestures, the Service Pack 2 was menti9ned - but my suppling dealer is offering that on selected cars now, so in essence Audi UK are not actually offering anything.

Will await Ned see what this week brings, but with another reduction in the cost of Tesla Model 3, will also book a test drive too. Think I am not starting to get t9 the point where I am losing the love for Audi and after 17 yrs of excellent dealership experiences and products, this is just becoming too much.

Are many others at the same point now or had any success with Audi UK?

In general I believe we have all had terrible experiences with Audi. This is my first and probably last Audi.

Tony, agreed.

Cancelled my order today. The confirmed built slot has changed, still no real indication on seats & Audi unable to provide me with a reimbursement price form the seat, so had enough. I did test drive a Tesla MYP at the weekend, so am now leaning towards that.

I got a model 3 and love it, the Audi is a nice car to drive but the Tesla is more fun

Anybody else waiting for delivery and being pushed back due to “delays at docks”?

Ordered via Lex - November 21
First est 5th Aug 22
From 05/08 to 31/10 - factory delay
From 31/10 to 06/01 - factory delay
From 06/01 to 31/01 - factory delay
From 31/01 to 17/02 - factory delay
From 17/02 to 15/03 - factory delay
From 15/03 to 07/04 - delayed at docks
From 07/04 to 17/04 - delayed at docks.

I called Audi on 21/03 and was told it was in status 38, which meant it has passed quality checks and was waiting for boarding.

Yes, I'm Nov 21 order too. There's 900ish cars recalled to factory for "repairs". My car was built (code 38) and ready to go but they've discovered problems. It's software issue with 6-7 hours rework. Audi have said cars affected should be done by end of July but no specific order they are being done. Crazy. I suspect like most things about our orders is that July could be optimistic. We'll see... I have complained

Is this the general software issue being applied to ALL cars? Only instead of doing it via the dealers, they’ve decided to do it in the factory - and cause several months MORE delay? Where did you get the information from, that there were 900ish cars recalled? Is there a link?
