Home charging with a Podpoint Solo
Hi - I have the exact same problem as this (and have done consistently for 8 months) with an Andersen A2 charger when I use scheduled charging. Neither Audi nor Andersen yet know what's causing it but I've only been talking to them for a week or so as I was just waiting for the software update to have the car do the timed charging but it's taking forever. My BMW i3S doesn't have this problem.
So I was VERY interested to see @DansQ4 post above showing he already has an updated MMI which now includes this! What version of the on-board software is that? I really like the "home" vs "out and about" feature too.

Oh I'm not sure actually I'll check and update you!choddo wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 4:36 pmHi - I have the exact same problem as this (and have done consistently for 8 months) with an Andersen A2 charger when I use scheduled charging. Not sure what you mean, how would I do that?
Last night on my Andersen I tried setting up 2 charge slots because I knew manually stopping & restarting the charger worked like unplugging & re-plugging the cable to get full power rate.
0200-0210 (this ran at lower speed, 0.6kWh in 10mins = about 3.5kW)
0215-0600 (this worked properly, 16kWh to the 80% limit in just over 2 hours = about 7kW)
I can't get them closer than that, minimum 5min increments.
Going to try again as soon as the car needs some more juice. If this is repeatable I can live with it as a workaround until I get Dan's shiny new MMI.

Such a pisstake.
So surely if our hardware versions are the same, the software should run equally well on all vehicles, yet if you bought early you're stuck on version 3608 from march '21 with additional bugs and no charge scheduling and who knows what else.

So obviously don't know on my Q4 as I have the old software...but on my old Q3 you could lock it from the my Audi app, and it was possible to get rid of the privacy notice as you could use your my Audi login details in the MMI, not just having set up as key user, this was what I was told the issue with the old software was and would be fixed by November (2021...) So useful to know if it's actually resolved that or just the charge scheduling
So I've managed to get rid of the privacy Notice, now I have signed in and set my users up it doesn't come up at all now which is great. Can't seem to get anything about locking and unlocking from the app though.Edam77 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 25, 2022 8:21 pm
