Weird one but When I activate parking assist to park in a bay, I've noticed that the car has never picked out a bay that has free bays on either side of it. It has always picked a bay with a car next to it.
Has anyone with the parking assist function ever noticed this? Or do you do anything different to make it select a bay with free bays on either side?
That’s because it uses the ultrasonic parking sensors to find two cars with a space between them and this allows it to park in that space (if it’s big enough). The sensors don’t detect parking bay lines.
